Microsoft 365 · Security · New Zealand

Microsoft 365, set up properly for New Zealand business.

Most small businesses are paying for Microsoft 365 but only using a fraction of it — and most are one phishing email away from a bad day. We fix that. Fixed prices and plain English.

What we do

Three ways to work with us.

We don't do vague retainers or open-ended projects. Every engagement has a clear price, a clear scope, and a clear end. You always know what you're getting.

M365 Health Check

$1,200 + GST · 5–7 days

We look under the hood of your Microsoft 365 setup and tell you exactly what's exposed, what you're paying for but not using, and what to fix first. You get a plain-English report, not a spreadsheet of doom.

Most businesses we see are overpaying on licences and underprotected on security — the report usually pays for itself.

  • Are your accounts protected from hackers?
  • Are you paying for licences you don't need?
  • Plain-English report + a call to walk through it

Advisory Retainer

$650/mo + GST · 3-month min.*

Got a question about whether to upgrade your licences? Wondering if that new app is safe to use? We're the person you call before you make a tech decision — not after something goes wrong.

  • One hour call per month — you set the agenda
  • Security check-in every quarter
  • Email or Teams questions answered within 2 working days

* 3-month minimum commitment. Ensures enough time to understand your environment and deliver meaningful guidance.

How it works

How it works.

Four steps. No surprises.

1

Tell us about yourself

Fill in a short form — takes two minutes. We want to know roughly how big your team is and what you're worried about.

2

Quick call

A 20-minute chat to make sure we're the right fit. No hard sell — if we're not right for you, we'll say so.

3

You get a clear quote

A one-pager within two working days. Exactly what we'll do, what we won't, the price, and the timeline.

4

We do the work

We get on with it. When we're done we hand everything over cleanly, with notes on what changed and why.

How support works

We're not your IT department. Here's what that means.

Some IT companies want to be the answer to every problem you ever have, forever. That's not us. We come in, do the work properly, and hand it back to you. No lock-in, no monthly fee for things you don't need.

Support is included for 30 days after we finish a project — but only for problems caused by the work we did. If something else breaks, that's outside scope. If you want ongoing help, the Advisory Retainer is the right fit. And if you need someone to manage your IT day-to-day, we'll point you toward a good managed service provider.

Not sure where to start? Start here.

Fill in the form below. We'll have a look at where you're at and come back to you within two working days. No sales pitch.

Plain English

What does all this actually mean?

IT people love acronyms. Here's what the ones we use actually mean, in plain English.

Microsoft 365 (M365)
Microsoft's subscription service that includes Outlook email, Word, Excel, Teams, and a bunch of security tools. Most NZ businesses already pay for it — but most aren't using it properly.
Two-factor login (MFA)
When you log in, you get a text or app notification to confirm it's really you. Even if someone steals your password, they can't get in without your phone. Simple but one of the most effective things you can do.
Phishing
Fake emails designed to trick you into clicking a link or giving away your password. They look like they're from Microsoft, your bank, or even someone in your team. Getting harder to spot every year.
Security Baseline
A set of standard security settings that every business should have turned on. Think of it as locking the doors and windows — Microsoft doesn't do this for you by default.
Tenant
Your company's Microsoft 365 account. When we say "your tenant" we mean your business's own M365 environment — all your users, emails, files, and settings.
Managed Service Provider (MSP)
A company you pay monthly to manage your IT day-to-day — think helpdesk, fixing laptops, setting up new staff. That's not us. We do specific projects and advisory work, not ongoing support.
Conditional Access
Rules that control who can log into your systems, from where, and on what device. For example: staff can only access company email from a work device, or logins from overseas get blocked automatically.
Secure Score
Microsoft's own security rating for your account — out of 100. Most businesses we see score under 50 on the first check. It's a useful starting point but it doesn't tell the whole story, which is why we add our own assessment on top.
